Is this weird or is it rare?
I am in New York and it is this man and his wife are from Guyana, but his ancestors came from East India.Both of them spoke Hindi, and everyone knows that Guyana is the only English speaking country in northern South-East Indian Guyanese America.Most can not speak Hindi, because their families came to Guyana as contract workers in 1838. For me, it seemed strange because I grew up with many people in Guyana, and I never heard any of them speak a bit of Hindi, but they look great Indian Bollywood movies and music. Of course this was 90 years old and his wife is 100, or even look at it.I thought they were there, while the early 50's which is also f * cking weird.
So what is your opinion?
